We were delighted to welcome our audience of 95 people, with the support of 10 volunteers and our 12 performers to create an evening of wonder celebrating our new piano.
The performances were:
Hugo aged 10 from Steel City Choristers, grade 8 pianist. Played Tchaikovsky's Barcarolle and Bach's Prelude & Fugue Bb
Sandra Rugwiza Singing her own Gospel song 'Heaven'
Nate Ozlo playing own piano composition 'Youve Blessed Me'
Ayoko from Paris! Playing and singing her own song 'Deja Plus'
Madge Woollard (piano teacher, plays organ in church services) playing Elgar and Beethoven with James Pelham (violin and piano)
Georgina Hulse, director of Sheffield Music Makers Choir who rehearse at St Mary's played Faure and sang Pergolesi with Graham Wilkinson
Yo Tolo, Nate Ozlo and Glen McGlone trio played and sang 'In a Sentimental Mood'
Chris Coates, Family Choir accompanist, played Billy Joels Piano Man and Root Beer Rag
Steve & Nate Tozer-Loft played Shens Fraser's Drunken Sailor
