WANTED: Part time caretaker

Hours:                  Thursday 8am – 4pm and Fridays 8am – 12.30pm

Start date:          10th September 2026

Location:             St Mary’s, Bramall Lane, Sheffield, S2 4QZ

Terms:                     £12.71 an hour (UK minimum wage)      

Principle purpose: to open the building, light clean of high use areas such as toilets, set up and check rooms ready for the day which includes moving tables and chairs, all other tasks incumbent on a caretaker during those times to ensure the smooth running of the organisation.

 St Mary’s is a hopeful community of people, of all faiths and none, and a place of Christian worship mobilised to break cycles of poverty, injustice and isolation.

We are seeking to appoint a Part Time Caretaker who can be flexible. The job is wide ranging from room set ups, gardening, DIY, and other general maintenance jobs such as decorating and occasionally helping out on reception.
