Parish Nurse Job Opportunity
Job Title: St Mary’s Parish Nurse (PN)
Hours: Two/Three days a week (14/21 hours)
Pro Rata Salary £14,000 or £28,000 (£35,000 FTE) depending on hours
3% employer contribution to pension
Days: Monday and Thursday – some flexibility and monthly attendance at Sunday worship
Location: St Mary’s Church & Community Centre, Bramall Lane, Sheffield
An exciting opportunity has arisen for St Mary’s Church to employ a Parish Nurse in partnership with Parish Nursing Ministries UK and the Diocese of Sheffield.
St Mary’s is a busy church, community centre and conference facility serving a deprived multicultural and multifaith community. St Mary’s Church wish to employ a Parish Nurse to meet the needs of the community who already use St Mary’s and begin to meet some of the unmet health needs in the local area.
We are seeking a Registered General Nurse who has significant experience of working with Mental Health. We would consider a Mental Health Nurse with relevant community experience.
There is a Genuine Occupational Requirement that the successful candidate is a practicing Christian.
The post is subject to enhanced DBS Clearance.
