About
St Mary's

"We have more in common than that which divides us" - Late Jo Cox MP

What drives us at St Mary’s is the community. Our centre operates for the community and is delivered by the community. We have 14 staff and 52 volunteers running different services and activities.

You are welcome to come and seek out what you need to thrive and flourish. We all need support now and then, whether it’s basic food and warmth or to chat about how we are feeling. Sometimes we need more specialists help to maximise our income or manage our debt. Alongside this we seek wellbeing; optimising our health and mental health through activity and purpose, friendship and connection.

We want to expand our horizons, learn and grow through education and training and personal development. One of the most proven ways of growing is through volunteering. Come and check out our Transformational Volunteer Programme (TVP).

We share a need for space and reflection but also for togetherness and shared experience. You can do either or both at St Mary’s. Everyone is welcome.
